Leaving the Paris Agreement would be a dumb move that would end up punishing and hurting farmers, Prime Minister Christopher Luxon says.
This is because companies such as Unilever – where Luxon once worked – would stop taking New Zealand dairy products in a “heartbeat”, he told an audience of around 100 farmers at a Federated Farmers meeting at Mystery Creek.
